AT NOSE
With a beautiful intensity, on woody, grilled, toasted notes, this rich nose recalls aromas of vanilla and white fruits. It then opens with childhood memories, aromas of very ripe mirabelle plums and small salted butter shortbread cookies.
THE PALATE
The attack, soft and fresh, is well structured. A very well integrated woodiness and fine bitterness bring refinement and elegance. The finish is accompanied by notes of fresh almond, apricot, peach and white fig. This rich and ample wine has a very fine gastronomic dimension.
WINE PAIRINGS
This wine can accompany a Poke bowl, chicken or fatty fish in sauce, death trumpets or morels. It will also go well with hard cheeses or a Mirabelle plum tart.
