VISUAL ASPECT
Golden yellow with bright honey-colored reflections.
AT NOSE
Nose which expresses a lot of concentration and the richness of candied fruits such as pear, mango, rose jelly, lychee and quince. We find in the bouquet the very typical aromas of over-ripe grapes on the vine. Everything is enhanced by an aromatic touch of honey which encompasses the complex aromas and gives them a beautiful harmony.
THE PALATE
Ce Gewurztraminer Sélection de Grains Nobles a une attaque fraîche et vive qui laisse place dans un deuxième temps à la sucrosité, à sa bouche confite. Une intéressante concentration aromatique lui confère, en même temps, une très belle longueur en bouche. On y retrouve les arômes du nez de miel de châtaignes et d’agrumes tels que la marmelade d’orange ou la gelée de pamplemousse à la rose. De légères notes épicées en font vraiment un vin d’exception à boire en toutes occasions festives.
WINE PAIRINGS
Wine of great concentration and great presence. Most of the time it is sufficient on its own and is enjoyed as an aperitif or as an accompaniment to a sweet dessert. It goes wonderfully with an orange blossom or honey crème brûlée, a caramel dessert, candied chestnuts, bredele or even a delicious shortbread tart with chocolate and orange zest!
